Mark Knopfler was born in 12 of August 1949 in Glasgow,the son of a Jewish architect and Englishwoman.
British (great) guitarist,composer,and singer,but before he began his career on the stage he was a journalist and lecturer.
He is Master`s English department and received three doctorates music.
Curiosity:despite his left-handedness plays guitar with his right hand and doesn`t use dice playing on his instrument and...one of the dinosaurs bears his name-Masiakasaurus knopfleri.
Mark likes to play the electric guitar,a variety of guitars Fender Stratocaster is signed his signature and also works with Pensa.



He is not only known as a leader of "Dire Straits"but also worked with Chat Atkins,Eric Clapton,Bob Dylan,Tina Turner,B.B.King,Phil Collins,Sting.
He has sold over 100 million records.

The song was released in 2009 on his solo album of the same tittle.

Song was the childhood memories when,as a 15-year-old boy he met on his way of life a man which in winter sing in a soul band,looking for summer work on farms or in the fairgrounds.
Also mentions other people encountered in the past as working on constructions sites,farms,working in short-term work.
And makes you want to shout "This is me!"
And about you ride to another country for a bread,and you,young man,earning himself a holiday or to study,and you wanderer who does not like to get attached to places and you can find in any city.
