When I got the sample from Amazon "My secret sister" something intrigued me in her extremely.
The title itself is mysterious, let alone these few pages that I spreading for free.
The story was so real and so moving, they immediately bought the rest of it ...
And what I love about Kindle?
For the fact that you buy and instantly get, without waiting for the shipment to x days and additional charges.
Coming back to our history.
"I open my laptop before I go to bed.In moments, the screen lights up.There is just one email from an unknown contact.
Who`s Jen Lucas? Why does the subject line say my mother`s name?
I click on the header and begin to read. The first two sentences explode in my head, blasting shrapnel through my past.My eyes widen and my jaw locks.Over and over I read the words:"I believe you are my half-sister."
I`m on the edge of the sofa in the semi-darkness;Dennis lies asleep in the bedroom.I begin to shake, slightly at first, and then great tremors start running through me.
I struggle to lower my shoulders and breathe slower, deeper.I read on,but I can`t take it in.Is this a scam?I go back to the beginning and reread the whole message. How has this woman traced me?She claims to have visited Mercia,my mother. Can this be true? Why didn`t my mother tell me?(...)"
The book is divided into two completely different stories, written by girls which still do not know about each other .
Their childhood, family, cousins and friends in the backyard, school days, numerous moving, adult life.
It is amazing, how different life can give us family and friends, which we surround ourselves?
How many disappointments, tears shed and wickedness suffers one of the girls and how much joy, love, adventure experiencing the other girl.
They do not know anything about themselves, although sometimes standing so close to each other and ... they miss, they do not have sisters and do not have to whom woes or simply chat.
Maybe someone recognises famous golfer of 70` from the UK, is one of our heroines, who accidentally finds out that was adopted in infancy, but not wanting to hurt his mother and inquired her about her adoption decides to postpone the search for some time.
And finally comes the time.
Her mother, which owes so much in his life, dying and already an elderly Jenny decides to find any document about her origins.
It is not so easy, but eventually finds the trail and is greeted by his real family and his mother "like stray sheep, which finally joined the flock."
History, where there is hatred, love, family, puzzles and mystery, but eventually the truth comes out to the delight of the sisters, who met after so many years ... and learn a lot more about myself, which greatly surprised them.
This is the true story of Jenny Lee Smith, famous British golfer and her rediscovered sister after so many years.
Reading the page already wondering what is next and the next, and, if it does not my work, the book would be read in one day.
The stories are written by two sisters like an interesting diary or a list of one sister to the other, which describe his childhood, the years of juvenile and adult years.
Its ups, downs, joyful moments and tears, marriage, moving.
This story gave me too much to think about because it dispelled some of my questions (I have to admit that I thought a lot about the adoption of a child when I was still a young maid).
Does the child have the right to know who your real parents?
Do you have the right to learn the truth ... why?
After reading the book there is a lot of anger and perplexity what to do in such a situation.
Yes, I know, easier said than done, and, not everyone is brave enough, but you can always try what Jenny did by adopting his son.
But I do not reveal more just urge you to read the book.
I wish you a good time with book:))
