Would Jesus wear a mask?

I have been watching us all for a year now and I see certain,exuse the word-beastly:aren`t we like dogs in muzzles?

Dogs must have fun:

"You look at the bad guy walking in the muzzle.I`ve always thougth this species(human)was the most dangerous."

😂😂😂

They took away our freedom,humanity and love.

And here I would have to refer to the One who created us out of love and for love.

 God, who is love himself, created people so that they could love each other. Give the thirsty water, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, dress the wounded. Never in any photo have I seen Mother Teresa wearing a mask and turning around among so many sick people. I also know if any of the Franciscan brothers looked like an alien going to a leper patient.

And the most difficult for me is to imagine a picture in which Jesus heals and wears a mask. Here I reach for the highest authority, who showed through his actions how to understand the greatest commandment of love.

After all, he was a man born in a stable like many children before and after him, and not in a sterile hospital, where his mother could not see him for two days.He was baptized in the dirty waters of the Jordan, he walked along dusty roads and he must have taught in the dirty alleys of the city where you could meet sinners, prostitutes, and beggars.After all,such social rejects did not sit in clean hospitals and wait for a savior in a white coat with a vaccine for every disease.They are certainly foul-smelling streets where slop was poured,maybe even mice ran there,and sick and dirty had lice in their hair.

And he?

He walked among them, touched? For one he even put his fingers in his ears and touched his tongue, for another he washed his eyes ... with saliva mixed with the earth, and he approached the leper without the alien costume and touched the hand of the dead girl (unclean for the Jaw), not to mention the sick old woman to the hemorrhage that touched him, which was a great uncleanness for the Jew as well.

 Are Catholics doing that now?

  Are we Christians who follow Christ? 

 Or are we like those Jews who are pulling away from everyone else because I'm still bringing home the virus?

Because what are our gestures of love now:

-cutting off from our old parents,

-escaping from everyone who does not wear a mask,

-no shaking hands,

And how does our psyche suffer?Let`s look at the children who miss school so much for their friends,and adults who work at home on their laptops not want to meet again in the office for a coffee and little chat,and the elderly are not cheerful when we come to visit them with grandchildren.

Forgive my words, but I remember not so long ago how people with a smile gave each other the sign of peace, and now they sway their heads like that donkey in the stable, and when going to communion I have to disinfect my hands so as not to get infected from the hands of the priest or that the blessed host may not transferred the virus to me.

"In the story of the birth of Jesus, there is a motif of a closed door to the Family of Nazareth. The people of Bethlehem kept their distance. (...) We are also very closed today.The coronavirus and the anxiety epidemic has hit one of the most sensitive points in the human relationship. We put on our masks and view ourselves as potential carriers of the virus.We avoid closeness,because it is threat.We do not shake hands,we do not see our smiles,we do not hug warmly.It is not about questioning the validity of epidemic regulations,but about the fact that one of the consequences of all this is growing loneliness.And people need closeness,relationship,warmth,touch(...).

Christmas is a celebration of closeness between God and people. God has covered the distance between heaven and earth in order to be close to us (...) ".

 And will we overcome this distance?

 These words, quoted from "Gość Niedzielny" (Polish Catholic newspaper), seem to be reading my mind.

One more thought:

Why do we stick to this world so drastically?Nobody will come up with a longevity pill(because someone hjas already invented such a pill and it was some milion years ago when creating this world),and each of us is destined to die and(depending on life)eternal heaven or hell.

Choose and remember that He does not force us to do anything,but gives us free will.
