The death penalty-yes or no?

Completely by accident I bought my mom a Christmas book "The Cell".

I did not know that this is a real relationship brother Paul Jones, religious  about a prisoner, whom he met in prison in the most secluded place and solitary confinement.
I read the book quickly and with emotion.
Multiple murderer-Clayton Fountain- serving a life sentence fivefold changes in praying and an educated man.
In his cell, which was built especially for him, and which has never gone out, sitting alone and did not hear any voice undergoes a change.
The way to God is long, but despite many difficulties he did not give up but still pushed forward. Anyway, as we all know God works slowly and bends over every sinner to save him, even the largest-and most of all on the largest sinner.
And just up to you whether you want to be closer to God, or would you rather choose a different path.
In this case, the convict took our way to God, and to education.
He received baptism, confirmation, communion, and still strive for salvation, and more.
He understood the importance of human life is to educate themselves.
When at the beginning of the book you began to read his first murder you blaming the environment in which he grew up, he would not be a killer if not for the community that surrounded him, but later you start thinking-such as a person that killed her husband-death for death.
In the book you read his letters full of sympathy for the relatives of his victims, correspondence with the monk and others who met in his life.
I do not think so full of peace, love and prayer can write a list of anyone who sits in jail for murder and it is so dangerous to the environment, the key to his cell was practically thrown out. There were also those who took offense, saying that he was going just to get a release from prison.
I'm not sure if anyone requesting exemption strongly requests to be received into the Order, and even insists that it is even willing to write this request to the pope.
Unfortunately, we will not know whether the man sent an after releasing his steps towards the law and further killings.
He died prematurely in his cell two days before making his entry into the Order.
God took him to himself?
We know it is everything form Pope John Paul II, who was shot to death wiped and still went to the cell of his would-be assassin and forgive, pray and leave the rest in God's hands.
And so great faith in the Mercy of God.
And now the question, "Are you in favor of the death penalty?" becomes problematic for me.
After the first one is not me I am responsible for answering someone's life, but he took.
Jesus also forgave his judges and those who crucified him.
Secondly, it also depends on the person or persons injured-forgive and I will show the same killer as he is, and I want the death penalty for him.
                                                              ENCOURAGED TO READ!!!
