Opera

I am sure you feel confused why I write than music to this opera was written by some prince and soon after I am providing the music of the opera Gounod.
Because the prince Radziwiłł first composed the music for the whole Goethe`s drama and the first staged it all.
But opera is known under a different name?
Two men Jules Barbier and Michael Carre wrote the libretto based on the first part of drama and the guvnor Gounod composed the music.
Unfortunately,when they first staged the opera "Faust"does not won due her fame,because the building in which it was issued was a small audience.



Than the track improved,converted,and unfortunately this time was not a success again.
Until published Antoine Choudens who bought the rights to issue composition corrected by inserting in lieu the spoken lines the recitatives* and finally succeeded on tour in Germany,England,Belgium and Italy.
In 1869 were added ballet to the act V.
Finally, the song is performed in French.
recitatives*-intermediate type between declamation and song accompaniment based on the chord,occurs in opera,oratorio,cantatas and passions.
But I do not want to write much again on this opera,I just wanted only mention one singer,because his song from "Faust"opera stuck in my memory.
Helmut Lotti was born on October 22 1969,Belgian singer and songwriter.
He began his career as an Elvis Presley imitator,was even described as new Elvis,but in 1995 he changed his image and began to perform classical music and folk.
He has sold over 13 mln.records and has already received 80 platinum and 70 gold records.
I really like the soldier`s song in his performed.

Unfortunately, I do not know French so the only way I can say in general,it is a song of soldiers returning from the war, hurrying to their homes.
